Better Ladders Update

Better Ladders - Carry items & Climb faster by Arckange on ModTheSims broke in the 1.116 patch. It's a staple in my mods folder and has been since it was released.

So I updated it, both versions. It now requires Lot 51's Core Library, because I prefer to avoid overrides when they're not absolutely necessary, so that mods can be compatible with each other.

Both files make sims climb faster and lets them climb when carrying things, including toddlers and infants. NEW: it also removes the block preventing burglars from using the ladder. I think they'd want to get around your house and escape as quickly as possible.

(The picture choice is inspired by me learning recently that the Pancakes got a basement in their home makeover.)

Will probably conflict with any mods that alter how climbing a ladder works. Overrides:

Updates:

• July 10, 2025: updated the Always Slide Down version to not show the Slide Down option for flying fairies, since they can't slide down.
