Club Trait Additions
Club Trait Additions
This is a set of files that add missing game traits to the filters for Clubs, Small Business customers, Getaways, and Custom Venues.
There are 10 separate files with different kinds of traits. I recommend using ones that match your playstyle. All of these alone (combined) cause a tiny (very tiny, nearly unnoticeable on my computer) amount of lag when opening the trait requirement filter -- there's a slight hesitation when you want to add a trait requirement that isn't there when you add a career or skill or marital status.
My requirements for adding traits were that they need a clear name that shows in the filter (not all show, and not all make sense, and some duplicate), that they need an icon that shows in the filter (not a llama), that they needed to last long enough to probably hold a club gathering without becoming no longer eligible, and that they need to have a chance to have enough sims to make a club (no traits that are meant for a single NPC). This means that things like a sim's turn-ons aren't included, because they have the same name for both turn-ons and turn-offs. Same with preferences. In CAS, there are visual cues telling you if it's a like or dislike, but in the trait filter, they're just names and have the same icons.
There are no overrides. This is all newly possible due to a recent update to Lot 51's Core Library, so that anyone can inject traits to the club filter (which then applies to small businesses, getaways, and custom venues, because they use the same filter). They're compatible with other mods that add traits to the filter, but the lag when opening the menu will increase.
There are no custom traits included. That's not the point of this mod. Any modder now has an easy way to make their own traits show in the rewards store even if they don't make script mods themself. (If you're a modder and need to be pointed in the right direction, I can do that. It's super easy, I promise.)
What's included (skip to the bottom for the download):
Bugfix
Traits that should have been included but weren't. Error report on the EA forums: https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/collection-bh-gt-traits-missing-from-rules/12037718
- Active Imagination
- Grouch
- Loyal
Aspiration
Traits that you get when you select an aspiration or that you get when you complete an aspiration. I won't list them all because there are a lot. Child aspiration traits should be in Childhood and occult-related aspiration traits should be in Occult. Notes:
- Highflier isfrom the teen aspiration, not the tutorial aspiraions, since it duplicated the name in game and there's no normal un-modded and non-accidental way to access the tutorial aspirations now)
- Muse of the Maker will show up in a sim's traits, and Master Maker will show up in the filter -- not my choice, it's how it's done in the game files
Basic Gender
Male or Female, as determined by the icon in the top left of CAS. It ignores any customization there, and will go with whichever one is selected for the sim as a whole. There's unfortunately not a lot more that can be done with that without overriding traits.
Career
Not careers themselves, which are included by the game in a different filter, but career or school related traits
- Earned Online High School Diploma

- Socially Gifted

- Unhappy Infant
Death Type
The different death types that a ghost can have, as long as they're permanent ghosts. I'm not listing them all because this post is already long enough.
Life
Traits a sim may earn by living their life
- Afizzionado
- Capable Mountaineer
- Chopstick Savvy
- Expert Mountaineer
- Left-Handed (I didn't include right-handed because that's most sims, just like it's most real people IRL, but left-handed sims can have their own club)
- Middling Mountaineer
- Perspectives on Death
- Public Menace
- Romantic Sage
- Safe Keeper
- Spice Hound
- The Knowledge
- Getaway reward traits

- Parenthood character value reward traits, both positive and negative
Occult
Traits related to occult and occult-adjacent sims, including sims with special parentage.

- Burning Soul (only for ghosts)
- Chomp Champion

- Fanged Friend
- Father Winter's Baby
- Grimborn
- Grim Descendant
- Happily Harmonious
- I am the Master
- Immortal
- Into the Everdew
- Lunar Confidant
- Problem Fairy
- Refined Lupine
- Servo (what they are), The Loneliest Robot (what will show in the filter, which is what shows in the game files for whatever reason)
- Slinger of Spells
- Sulani Mana
- Threatening Presence
- Werewolf Ally
- Curses from Realm of Magic
- Fairy, Spellcaster, and Werewolf bloodline traits
- Former Werewolves or Vampires
- Werewolf Packs
- Friend of a Werewolf Pack
- Werewolf Temperaments
Reward
Traits from the Rewards store. Again, there are a lot. This is the default rewards store. If you have a mod that adds things to the rewards store, they won't be included here.
Walkstyle
Maybe you want a club of sims with the creepy walkstyle? IDK, it was there so I added it
Base game compatible, but won't do anything without at least one of Get Together, Business & Hobbies, and/or Adventure Awaits.
Lot 51's Core Library is required.
Other Uploads By Amethyst Lilac:
No Nature's Revenge with High Natural Living Skill
No Nature's Revenge with high Natural Living Skill, and a lower overalll chance.
More Sim Names
Adds more names for sims, pets, and various other groups to get randomly. It works for CAS and sims randomly generated in live mode.
No Leftover Detective Clues
A small mod to delete clues between one case and the next in the Detective career, because otherwise the game lets you keep using them.
Better Ladders Update - Auto Slide Down
Project: Better Ladders
Have sims climb ladders faster and climb when carrying things, including toddlers and infants. Auto slide down version.
Listen To A Radio Show
Gather around the radio and listen for a while! Sims can listen to an old fashioned radio show, as in the 1920s to 1960s.
Main Menu Background Overrides
Project: Theme
A handful of main menu background overrides. Only changes the backgrounds, nothing else.
Nightlife Superstar Aspiration by MissBee updated
This sim wants hit the clubs and party harder than any Party Animal sim that came before them!
Chase Tail and Frolic for Max Fun
Cats and Dogs will chase their tails and horses will frolic when their fun drops too low.
