Nightlife Superstar Aspiration by MissBee updated

The last of MissBee's aspirations that I was asked to update. This was originally posted on ModTheSims here.

From the original description (the important parts for how it works):

Nightlife Superstar Aspiration: This sim wants hit the clubs and party harder than any Party Animal sim that came before them! This aspiration is in the Popularity category

What is it?

This aspiration will have your sim drinking, dancing, DJing, and partying till all hours of the night. It focuses on going out to clubs, and has requirements that will ONLY complete at Nightclub venues. This aspiration comes with a custom reward trait that will allow your sim to party longer at any bar, club, or lounge while also boosting their friendship and romance gains.

Compatibility:

This aspiration requires Get Together, as it utilizes the DJ skill, but doesn't need any other packs.

Aspiration Tiers:

Tier 1: Nightclub Newbie

• Introduce Self to 5 Sims at a Club - 150 Aspiration Points

• Have 10 Drinks at a Club - 150 Aspiration Points

• Dance at a Club for 5 Hours - 150 Aspiration Points

Tier 2: Rambunctious Raver

• Achieve Mixology Level 3 - 250 Aspiration Points

• Flirt with 10 Sims at a Club - 250 Aspiration Points

• Max Dance Skill - 350 Aspiration Points

Tier 3: Hard-Core Clubber

• Serve Drinks at a Bar (x15) - 600 Aspiration Points

• DJ at a Club for 3 Hours - 600 Aspiration Points

• Show off Dance Moves at a Club (x10) - 600 Aspiration Points

Tier 4: Club VIP

• Achieve Level 10 DJ Skill - 1000 Aspiration Points

• Earn Gold on 5 Parties at a Club - 1000 Aspiration Points

• Win 10 Dance Battles at a Club - 1000 Aspiration Points

Reward Perk: Life of the Party - These sims are master partiers. They can party longer and harder than others and always seem to draw in the sims around them. These sims will gain fun and decreased energy decay while at bars, clubs, and lounges, and will gain friendship and romance faster while at these lots.

Buffs:

1. Partying the Night Away: {0.SimFirstName} is feeling hyped for that thumping bass and crowded dance floor! Time to show these wannabes how to really party!

- Sims gain this +2 Energized buff while at nightclub venues. While at this venue sims will gain fun, have decreased energy loss, and will gain friendship and romance 1.5x faster.

2. Local Dive: Sometimes {0.SimFirstName} just wants to kick back and have a lowkey night out.

- Sims gain this +2 Happy buff while at bar venues. While at this venue sims will gain fun, have decreased energy loss, and will gain friendship and romance 1.5x faster.

3. Sophisticated Sipping: Not all nights out need a D.J. and flashing lights. {0.SimFirstName} knows how to enjoy a classy evening out as well.

- Sims gain this +2 Happy buff while at lounge venues. While at this venue sims will gain fun, have decreased energy loss, and will gain friendship and romance 1.5x faster.

4. Shameless Singer: {0.SimFirstName} is ready to wow the crowd with their epic pipes!

- Sims gain this +2 Confident buff while at karaoke venues. While at this venue sims will gain fun, have decreased energy loss, and will gain friendship and romance 1.5x faster.

5. Out of the World: Is this place for real? {0.SimFirstName} is ready for some interstellar partying!

- Sims gain this +2 Energized buff while at karaoke venues. While at this venue sims will gain fun, have decreased energy loss, and will gain friendship and romance 1.5x faster.

Other important info:

-You'll probably need to bring your own DJ booth to the nightclub. My sim couldn't use the pre-existing one.

-Some of the parties that count for the party objective would need a mod to be planned there. They were like that before I added any. Current valid parties are:

What I've changed:

-Objectives:

• Newer greeting types count for introductions.
• For drinking at the bar, the drink from the Reaper's Rewards event and nectar from Horse Ranch count. Both have their own special interactions and needed to be listed separately.
• For serving drinks, the bar from the bistro kit (why is this its own interaction?), baby shower drinks (I'm not telling you where to have your parties, or how to celebrate births/adoptions/science babies), drinks from Batuu, and a few others from older packs got added.
• Added more parties. Dance parties can't be goaled, so they can't be added. Neither can wedding parties from My Wedding Stories (I probably would have added some of the pre-wedding parties and the reception if they could) or funerals (I probably would not have added them).

-Trait:

• Valid for reincarnation.
• The trait can only be earned through gameplay by completing the aspiration, but if you have a mod that allows reward trait inheritance, it can by inherited--it's available for all ages because of that. There won't be any benefits before they're teens, but they can have it.

-Buffs:

• Had to be remade. Should work mostly the same as the originals. I think.
• The karaoke bar buffs have a 60% chance of appearing when at a karaoke bar. I tried 75% to start with, but my test sim always had both, and +4 positive buffs and 3x relationship gain is a lot, especially compared to the other venues (half that with only one buff). Most of the time, a sim will get one. Sometimes they'll get both. Rarely they'll get neither.

-Works for wants, discovery quests, and the soul's journey.

-Updated tuning and SimData for the current patch.

-Added strings. This time I might not have broken previous translations, I can't really say, but at best you'll have some things in English and some not.
