Happy 25th birthday to The Sims! 🎉 Here's something to celebrate the occasion with.

This mod converts TS2's Grim Reaper outfit and scythe to be used in TS3. There are 4 variants: regular and 3 lei options 🌺

IMPORTANT!

In ongoing saves the Reaper will need a little help changing into his new clothes. Make sure to regenerate him with NRaas Master Controller. Click in-game on either the Reaper, city hall or a pc > Master Controller > Sim > Advanced > Total Annihilation > Type of Service > Grim Reaper.

Info about the package files

• Body_TS2_Reaper : This is the single CAS item in this mod and required for the DR_Outfit packages to function. It's not meant to be used on regular Sims. It's non-recolorable, has no morphs and will clip/conflict with other CAS items. As such it's hidden in CAS without the use of cheats or mods.
• DR_Outfit_GrimReaper_TS2_Regular , DR_Outfit_GrimReaper_TS2_Lei_Pink , DR_Outfit_GrimReaper_TS2_Lei_Orange & DR_Outfit_GrimReaper_TS2_Lei_Yellow : Inside these packages is the file that actually tells the game to use the Body_TS2_Reaper CAS item on the Grim Reaper. Use only one variant! Do keep in mind that this only takes effect on newly generated Reapers!
• DR_DeathScythe_TS2 : This will change Death's scythe to the one he uses in TS2.

Extra info
The CAS item in this mod doesn't actually override anything in the game. Like mentioned above it's the .Outfit file inside one of the DR_Outfit_GrimReaper_TS2 variants that links it to be used on the Grim Reaper. It'll also apply to the Reaper from the Door of Life And Death. The textures are quite small, 320x320 for the CAS item and 128x64 for the scythe. 2 previously unused textures for the lei have been added as options. The bone assignments have been kept the same. The body has custom bonedeltas to widen the shoulders a bit, since these got narrowed on the mesh during the conversion process. The transparency isn't quite the same as in TS2, but that's because TS3's shaders work differently. So he looks more ghostly and more of his skeleton is visible.
