Modern Sloped Roof
from my Sloped Roof Tutorial
2 bedrooms - 2.5 bathrooms - 2-car driveway
dramatic design - high energy efficiency - skylit loft
Grid Adjusted
2 step foundation
~ with only 2 CC = My invisible floor and HL's Maxis Match Floor Edge (fence) ~
A friend of mine found Cillas TS4 version of this house, and asked if it could be done in TS2. So I did it.
I did not ask Cillas for permission - and I did not build a direct copy of her house either. I hope Cillas doesn't mind. :D .
My version has an extra bedroom and bathroom added to the upstairs area.

Now... with sloped CFE or Grid-Adjusted floors/ceilings in TS2, there are a few uh..., caveats.
If you don't use my invisible-floor on the underside of the slope (ceiling) you will get "broken triangles," a graphic glitch, on the sloped area.
Using the invisible floor makes the glitch invisible. It also makes the ceiling inside invisible. sigh
Also, as shown in the picture below... if a sim walks behind the couch, they will be walking through the sloped roof.
AND - under the skylight is not weatherproof.
It's still a cool looking house. :luff: I hope your sims will enjoy it too!

Please enjoy touring the rest of this design by scrolling through all the pictures.
I intentionally keep my builds lightly furnished - with only EAxis stuffeths - so that you can have all the fun of decorating it! ( Please CC-it-up once you get it in your game! ) All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included; along with smoke and burglar alarms, and telephones.
This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here.
The lot was cleaned and compressed with Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor.
The package was cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
This lot has an easily identifiable custom thumbnail too.
The sun is oriented to the front.
There is parking for two vehicles, both on the driveway.
This is a pet-friendly build. No pet items are included, but there is plenty of room to add what you need.
This lot has a 2-step foundation - so if you want to allow large dogs inside, they are going to need Simler90's Stair Mods to be able to access the 2-Step foundation.
TIP : If, when you first enter the lot, arches/doorways are not "cut through" - save, exit to the hood, and re-enter. Fixed! ;)
Definitely used but NOT included:
Get this item if you want the house to look exactly as shown in the pictures.
- HugeLunatic's Backless Shower
Custom Content Included
- My Completely Invisible Floor
- HL's Stainless Floor Edger/fence
Lot Size: 20X40
Lot Price: $102,215
Enjoy!
