It started like this: I was bored, browsing twitter in the Sims3 hashtag in search of cool pictures, and found Ferdiana’s twitter with this dress converted! Asked for a WCIF, since Maxis 4t3 clothes are hard to find. It was hers, and as soon as she sent me the (unrecolorable) package, I asked permission to add the channels and the rest you see here :)
No issues except for the usual: textures can get pixelated when zoomed-in, since this dress has a 1024 texture and is low-poly and the typical clipping of hands on the voluminous skirt. As far as I’ve seen, the bone assignment is a GREAT one. Presets 1-5, 6-8, and 9-10 have different masks. Small stuff, like the bow and buttons sharing a channel in one and the buttons and the back lacing sharing a channel in another one. Necessary for making all TS4 presets possible. The metallic eyelets are an overlay, though. Oh, and disabled for random, of course. Credits: EA for original mesh FerdianaSims for mesh conversion, adapting, and remapping. Myself for texture editing and enabling channels. It was a pleasure making CC with you!
