This was the set of locals I began with, before I figured out how to make them in a subhood, and before I found Isbrealiomcaife's face templates. The arrangements are therefore a little different from the Tropics and Asian sets. Nothing major, though.

There are twelve Mountain locals included –2 kids, 2 elders, four each of teens and adults. The subhood has been tested to make sure the locals appear and behave as they should.

• Each sim has a few skill points, teens and up were given cellphones.
• I made sure they have a range of hobbies and turn-ons.
• Family members have relationships, and some adults/elders have a secondary aspiration.
• They do not have jobs, degrees or bios.

I moulded these sims myself, trying to create interesting features rather than any particular facial type. Since this is for Mountain vacations, which seem to evoke (more-or-less) backwoods North America, I aimed for a mix of European and First Nations sims. Their names were chosen from lists which the internet says are First Nations-appropriate.

Built in the Ultimate Collection, so probably requires all EPs. No custom content.

The subhood is MOLO.

Installation:

1. Install your new subhood with the other Shopping Districts/Suburbs. (Program Files...OFB.../TSData/RES/NeighborhoodTemplates)

2. In-game, add the suburb to a primary hood, using the 'Add Shopping District' button. Once the game finishes this process, you should have the correct number of new sims in the Characters folder for the main hood. (If you can't see the drop-down list of available suburbs, you probably need Moo's fix:)

3. The subhood can be deleted again – it was just a placeholder for the sims, who should now be available at the destination.

4. Next time your sims go on vacation, these locals should turn up to show them greetings and dances.

5. Adding a subhood apparently messes with the subhood sims'memories – it is suggested to run Hoodchecker after installing your new locals.
