Another Makeover for Downtown! I left the Corner Shoppes for a long time because I didn't know what I wanted to do with them, but then I realized - having done the Comandgo Emporium - that there were enough clothes and electronics, and what we really needed was a salon and a pet shop instead.

The outside is still fairly vanilla. There are new windows everywhere, new balustrades, some extra plants...The sellaphone kiosk has its own little nook, and I added a bubble blower to the lawns.

There is a pink and black salon at the front, catering to the kiddies with a special chair. It has an enclosed deck, so they also can play safely (and cook a muffin) while the parent gets their 'do'.

A pet store has moved in at the front left, selling small animals of all kinds - or just come in for some play time!

The arcade at the rear of the lot is still there, with a new blue look.

The eco cafe at the rear was extensively remodelled to give it a coffee terrace. You can still BBQ your own if you must, but there is also a food stand , plus a few organic groceries to keep your pantry full. The toilets are also in this building - we all know what effect coffee can have on a sim!
