I didn’t come up with the idea, the amazing @ashuriphoenix, who wanted to get rid of the stencil and see if you would be able to recolour it.
So… recolouring is possible if your sim just hold your cup and then going into buy/build mode so you can recolour it with your cup itself. Also! The stencils aren’t removed from the tea set on the table, it’s removed from the cup your sim holds.
You need the tea set from either the store, or a BG-compatible made store item.
