Tiny House #4

Those of you who have been following me for a while may have guessed buy now that I kinda have a thing for tiny homes 😄

This time it's a beachy, tropical house, that has a fireplace, which makes absolutely no sense for a tropical house. But the house that inspired this build had one, and I wanted this house to have one, too...

This house's special feature is a plant wall to separate the bedroom from the rest of the house.

The house is decorated a little, but not too much. There should still be room for your sims to place personal objects and make this house their own!

Details

  • CC-free
  • No Store Content
  • Lot size: 21 x 15
  • Address: 6 Camino del Ray in Isla Paradiso, but can be placed in any world
  • Price furnished: §46.580
  • Price unfurnished: §28.944
  • Packs used: Showtime, Supernatural, Island Paradise, Seasons, Pets, Late Night, Into the Future, Generations, Ambitions, World Adventures
  • Stuff Packs used: Outdoor Living (just for the fireplace and two decorative towels)
  • Please note: I did a few unorthodox things with "moveobjects on" in order to make the house look good and be functional at the same time. So if you move certain things when redecorating, you may make them inaccessible for your sims. If you don't want this to happen, just try not to move the fridge(s) (I had to move it forward a little, because it is placed under the stairs, otherwise sims can't access it. Also I placed a second fridge behind it and moved them into each other, in order to make the gap between wall and fridge appear smaller), and try not to move the side tables I used for a vanity in the bathroom (they need to be slightly moved backwards in order for sims to be able to use the sink).
  • I used @omedapixel 's Sims 3 Decorator Tools Mod * in a couple of places. * You don't necessarily need the mod to use the lot. As long as you do not move the objects (light on the outside table, the three decorative jars in the kitchen next to the fridge under the stairs) that were placed with the mod, everything should stay in place. Only if you do some redecorating, and you happen to move one of the mentioned objects, they may slip back into normal mode and you will only be able to place them back with the mod.
  • Also I used velocitygrass's stencil remover mod for some objects (again the jars under the stairs, and the china on the shelf in the kitchen). If you try to recolor those objects the stencils will be reset, and will be visible again. You'll need to use the mod to remove them again in this case. But as long as you don't try to change the color of the objects, you shouldn't need the mod.
