Sul sul! Here is a collection of default replacements for afhairbarrett. All versions are available for adults and elders. They require The Sims 2: Apartment Life in order to work. All have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.
afhairbarrett_blackclip is replaced with @nervosposts' 4t2 Conversion of monharicot's "Allison" Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (9k).
afhairbarrett_blondclip is replaced with @mystic-hysteria's 4t2 Conversion of Maxis' Long Wave Clips. The polycount is the same as the original (7.2k). The original version had gray clips for all hair colours, so I recoloured them! The black swatch has blue clips, brown has yellow clips, blonde has pink clips, red has green clips, and grey has purple.
afhairbarrett_brownclip replaced with @platinumaspiration's 4t2 Conversion of Okruee's "Magnolia (bows)". The polycount is the same as the original (21k).
afhairbarrett_greyclip is replaced with @platinumaspiration's 4t2 Conversion of Daylifesims' "Cassie Party" Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (15.2k). I recoloured the brown texture so it matches the other defaults better, since I felt it was too dark. I gave the brown texture recoloured hair clips, now purple instead of pink, so its different from the black texture which was (and still is) also pink.
afhairbarrett_redclip is replaced with @miniculesim's 4t2 Conversion of TipTopTab's "Darly Darling" Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (5.1k). The black swatch was desaturated to be a more true black colour instead of the former default blue tint Sims 4 swatches that older hairs had. I forget which other hairs in this collection I edited, but all clip replacements have true black swatches.
