Long time no see. A power outage took out my SSD last May, couple that with some IRL stuff, just last month I got bit by the Sims 2 bug again and finally reinstalled the game.

Anyways, when I looked at my old conversions from Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2, I was amazed... they looked like ASS. So, after some farting around with SimPE and Blender, I have fixed them. Included are some comparison images of what I consider to be the worst offenders. (There's a reason why I never initially took preview pictures of the park sign.)

A few notes:
* If you already have these items in your downloads folder, please let the new ones overwrite them.
* The old gnome was cloned from the BG gnome, which I learned recently might not be a very good thing? The new gnome is cloned from the BG vase. Same GUID as the old one.
* The bookcase is functional and probably requires FT.
* The crib is functional, but is not animated itself and there is some clipping.
* The lockers function as a wardrobe, but also have no animations on their own.
* The tallest computer cabinet is actually taller than the game's walls and will probably clip.
* The piano bench is a separate object from the piano itself. You will probably have to place it on [SilentLucidity's walk-through block](https://modthesims.info/d/320185/updated-get-where-you-re-going-walk-around-amp-through-blocks.html) so sims can use the piano.
* I actually didn't update the life preserver, because I felt like it looked okay, but it's been included for the sake of completeness.
* All of the old downloads that included these items have been updated as of April 17th 2025.
