The next two days of the Woodyard 's business were significantly better, with profits of $611 and $664 respectively. But by the fourth day, I felt that it was time to give the Hackels a well-deserved break.
Rulf woke first and headed straight outside to their favorite amusement/bodybuilding tool:

Rowan woke soon after and joined in the fun

But let's eat some breakfast and get out for a day of fun! And what could be more fun than farts?

Why, the Village Green of course!

This poor bastard...

But then, as it does pretty much every day during a Sim Autumn, Winter or Spring, the weather turned to shit. So I sent the boys home so they wouldn't catch cold.

Rowan is a damn fine cook and such a sweet son.

Rulf passed out immediately afterwards, but Rowan was still wide awake, so it seemed like the perfect time to have him head out the the Henge to pay his respects to his god, the Trickster. How does one worship the Trickster, you ask?

As exhuberantly as possible!
(Btw, how cute is Kadja Faa? I wonder if she'd be a good match for Rowan?)

Rowan was getting a bit low on energy, so I had him go to the Trickster's sacred fountain to pray and drink the waters, resulting in a Super Saiyan energy boost!
It was back to work the next day, but gone were the days of slow cashiering and failed sales. Rowan and Rulf both achieved Silver Talent Badges and learned new skills!

Rowan "Dazzles" Lord Geoffrey.
The boys brought in $810 and $771 respectively over the next two days! On another topic, I do believe that Peter Bell has the hots for Eloise Pullet. Aside from the hearts and thought bubbles whenever she walks past, check this stalker gaze:
At the last, the Hackels did very well in business! They made a total of $3,684, with taxes, etc. coming to $3,342. They'll be going into their next season with a cash reserve of $342 and won't have to buy a license again, so I can see them doing very well indeed monetarily. They still need over 30k for advancement to the Yeomanry, though, so we'll definitely be seeing more of this little hut for a LONG time tocome.
In life, Rulf is surprisingly popular with the ladies, with both Hilde and Gretel Pullet swooning over him whenever they appear. Rowan has proved to be more tricky as he doesn't seem to have a preference either way and has shown no attraction to anyone. I'm not in a hurry though, there's plenty of time for children yet.
And with that, our first season with the Hackels comes to an end. I'll have Rulf just send this check for $3,342 off to Lord Geoffrey:

And see you next time!
