Autumn Quarter: Year One: The Bells 2

Beatrice was up before anyone else in the family the next morning and got started with the new garden. I've discovered that she LOVES gardening.

She then prepared the breakfast and called the rest of the family to eat. Such a hard worker!

Since Peter felt he had the hang of running a Tavern, he decided to bring the girls along to show them the ropes. They'd have to take over one day, after all.

All was going well, and Beatrice decided to cook a bowl of champ for the patrons to enjoy.

Except...

So that wasn't a go...

But, aside from that mishap, everything else went smoothly for the family Bell, and they had a wonderful turnout of the regulars.

Of course, Emma got up to no good when no one was looking, sneaking a drink from the Barrel of Inebriation.

They took in a whopping $791 this day. It's safe to say that the Bells are going to do very well for themselves in this world.

The following day was a tale of contrasts, with Emma's being wonderful and Beatrice's being...not so wonderful. Emma made a couple of new friends!

But Beatrice set yet another meal on fire!

In addition...she started her first monthly bleeding, and she was miserable.

(This Period Hack is genius) and with this, she is now officially a marriageable woman!

But in all, the girls are becoming closer, with Emma actually volunteering to play games and being much less antisocial.

Emma lay down in the afternoon for a nap, watched over by her loving sister.

But Beatrice still needed to prepare dinner for the family, so no relaxing for long!

Will she set the house on fire? AGAIN?!

No! You doubters! She did it and I have to say that that champ looks frigging delicious.

Off to bed for the girls, who are fast asleep before their father returns home. When he does return he's mourning the fact that he has no one to share his life with. I've gotta get this guy sorted as soon as possible, he's breaking my heart.
