The Bells! The Bells!

This family has been such a bunch of weirdos that I wasn't even sure I LIKED them, and yet, I've realized that I've taken more pictures of them than ever before. And I still have two days left in their rotation...

This is Emma. This was Emma's default expression for the majority of my playtime with her.

But there's a reason for that! Immediately upon the family entering the lot, I unmercifully killed off their mother, Alys , since I had rolled a family of three and she was the spare wheel. Emma was plunged into the red and took days and days to recover.

Emma is her father's daughter, which is...a shame for her...but Beatrice takes more after her mother.

I hope she thanks Eostre every day for that.

Since their mother is gone, Beatrice has taken over the role of homemaker for the family. I set her straight to work making breakfast for everyone.


Next, Peter purchased the Moody Unicorn and proudly set off for his first day of work!


Now we're officially open for business!!

The Moody Unicorn is officially a success! Peter took home $699 on his first day.

While Peter was at work, the girls were at home. Honestly, they didn't get along very well, which made for some laughable moments, like when Beatrice beaned her little sister while playing catch...



I genuinely didn't know what to do with these two for a good bit, and it was worrisome. As Yeomen, they can't have access to knowledge items and there's a limit to how much I could start them off with in terms of entertainment. Beatrice loves cooking and wanted to learn more, but I could only have her learn through practice. Emma was just moping about and beating the shit out of her doll, so she didn't want to have friendly chats and rejected any overtures of friendship. It was an awkward situation for a while.

Peter got home late that night after the two girls had eaten and gone to bed.

Emma wasn't the only one missing her mother. Peter is a Family Sim, so he is equally despondent about the loss of Alys and mourns her daily.
