Casey Bethlehem has joined shantytown, moving into the boarding house for the moment. It's cheap, but there's no room for him to start anything, so he will have to move soonish. Just need some more money...

The boarding house has a communal kitchen and parlour/dining room, with separate bedrooms for the residents.

Casey has taken a room which is very small, but is also the only one in the house with a private bathroom. He -will- have to ignore the noisy pipes from the next room, though, and the other residents playing darts in the corridor.

This is the front basement room - you can see the corridor and street door on the left - that street door sits under the main entrance. Casey's room does include a minifridge and sink, so he isn't forced to mingle unless he wants to. There is a piano in the parlour, though, so he will likely spend a chunk of time up there anyway, as he loves music.

Casey has taken a job with the military, which he will probably hate, but it earns the best of all the careers open to poverty sims, and was the first job on offer. Maybe he will change jobs further down the track.
