I have been building a set of allotments alongside the railway line, for sims who don't have outdoor space at home. This is a narrow patch of otherwise waste ground, so it's good to see it put to use.

This is a community lot, so sims don't really 'own' any of the allotments, but everyone can come and enjoy the gardens.

Allotment 1 has a decent shed (containing a toymaking station), and a variety of food plants, some of the delicate ones in hotboxes.

Allotment 2 is also a productive garden, with a proper greenhouse and a packing station.

Allotment 3, on the other hand, is all about kicking back with a couple of mates and a BBQ.

Each allotment has been planned by a different type of household. Some are productive food gardens, others are hoping to win Best Floral Display. Allotment 4 contains one fruit tree, a large compost heap and a dart board!

The Newbies enjoyed their day on the allotments. :)
