Hey everyone!

You might have noticed the changes, but Simblr.cc now has Ads!

While I've been really careful with the idea, I figured to keep the site running, that it might be a good way to add advertisements on the site to lighten the financial burden of running a website on my own.

Now, that doesn't go without saying that I don't at all want to make the experience super annoying. Lately, a lot of websites just throw so many ads at you while you might just want to, say, read a recipe! I don't want Simblr.cc to ever get to that state and will do everything I can to prevent that.

That said, I also need your help of course if things get too annoying/overwhelming, if the quality of ads you're seeing aren't exactly amazing (think: those annoying "Download" fake buttons you see often on download pages). That would really help me out!

Allright, with that out of the way... Changelog time!

These changes have been made over the span of a few weeks, but because they were quite small, I hadn't composed a changelog yet. Hence the delay! 😉

• [Story] Fixed an issue where creating a new character for a story resulted into a 500 error.
• [Feed] Added the option for feed posts to not show the images at the top of the post, and instead just displaying them in the description.
• [Posts] tidied the style for Gameplay posts, Personal posts and lookbooks to be easier to read and support images in descriptions better.
• [Story] Fixed an issue where creating a new story could lead to a 500 error
• [Story] Fixed an issue where the description box would not show up when unticking "carousel Layout".
• [Story] Added a preview button on the bottom of the page, for easier access.
• [Story] Fixed an issue where deleted story posts (for creators) would still show up, causing confusion when trying to edit it.
• [Edit Post] Fixed an issue where previewing your description with images, would result into massive images that exceeded outside of the modal/text area
• [General] Fixed an inconsistency issue with where the unique views and general views had swapped icons
• [Stickers] Fixed an issue where on the about page, the text would be unreadable
• [Stickers] Attempted fix on fixing users not getting their stickers after posting
• [Project/stories] Added support to delete projects/stories.
• [Importer] Fixed an issue where the tumblr account would reblog your post twice in one go
• [Importer] Fixed an issue where clicking on the import succeeded notification wouldn't link you to your post.
• [Importer] Added the ability to import different types of posts (aside from mods, you can now do Personal posts, Gameplay pics, etc).
• [Importer] The importer now asks you what game you're importing for. This should help in case tags are incorrect.
• [Importer] Added the import banner on the "create" page (the page you see when clicking "Upload/Post" in the navbar)
• [Importer] Added story import support!
• [Importer] Added support to import post to a project/story
• [Importer] Added support to already tick as carousel-layout
• [Profile pages] You can now see who follows you and who followed you back!
• [Browse Page] Fixed an issue where the category text would sometimes be really dark on dark.
• [Stories] Fixed a small issue where scenes could get referred to as "chapters" rather than "scenes" in the next/previous buttons.
• [FAQ] Fixed an issue where clicking on 'mods' could result into a 500 error
• [Event] Fixed an issue where scheduling your event could result into a 500 error.
• [Download] Fixed an issue where files with descriptions wouldn't show said description
• [Download] Fixed an issue where the additional info page could throw a 500 error
• [Deadsites] Fixed an issue where Images/Files would still get added even though you removed them.
• [Deadsites] Fixed an issue where making a collection without images (yet) would result into never being able to upload images.
• [Personal Posts] Fixed an issue where if you're on the "my personal posts" page, and wanting to make a new personal post, it would lead to a 404.
• [WIPS] Fixed an issue where when viewing a wip (and tutorials), it wouldn't show the images, even though you had "carousel layout" selected.
• [Personal Posts] When checking a personal post in isolated view, and the post itself had multiple images per row, they'd escape the post block. This is now fixed
• [Download/Carousel] Fixed an issue where any page with a image carousel would show images double! (sorry about that one)
• [Gameplay/Personal/Lookbooks] When creating any of these posts you can now post them privately
• [Gameplay/Personal/Lookbooks] Fixed an issue where sometimes scheduled posts wouldn't be scheduled

I'm still in a work in progress on how the whole Resource lists feature works, so stay tuned for that! That will be in a seperate post though 😉
