Uber/Mega - Hood Template (PV + ST) Fixed Bella Goth Issue + Clean Purist Templates + Townies/No Townies + Optional Extras

Hello! As I promised here's a Uberhood base that should fix the Bella Goth issue once and for all. It is based on my Pleasantview and Strangetown purist templates, so no personal interpretations added.

Features

• Everything has been left as maxis-match as I could.
• Bella from PV has been deleted , as she's not the canon one from the standpoint view of the developers.
• Bella has relationship flags/family ties to all her family members, but does not remember anyone.
• I have kept Bella hidden in Mortimer's, Cassandra's and Alexander's relationship panels, so you can play out your storyline and indulge in the mystery.
• Fully modular : Eight versions to pick from. Do you want your main to be ST or PV? Do you perhaps want townies or not? What about genetics, infant faces, corrected astrological signs and merged clones? Up to you!
• All Townies have their original names , instead of being randomized.
• All ancestors are always included.
• Characters with a broken face had it restored according to their true looks in the character file.

DISCLAIMER

This only works on Windows and Linux, and requires either the Legacy Collection, Ultimate Collection or all discs. I have tried to use AnyGameStarter or the RPC Launcher to boot the game in a lower version but I could not succeed.

WARNING: ALIEN PREGNANCY

When the Subhood is added and everything is ran through Hoodchecker, the father NID is updated. However, the game does NOT register it. Once the lot is opened again, the game wrongly considers the pregnancy not fixed and will attempt to change the NID again, resulting in Pascal's child having a random other parent. This is a game bug and nothing I can really fix myself. Here's how to fix it in SimPE (I heard it can be fixed also with SimBlender or Insiminator, but I have no idea how those two things work and never heard about them when fixing this issue.): * Open SimPE, go to Neighborhood Browser and pick the Uberhood. * Go to Neighborhood Memory in the Resource Tree and find the Curious Family, then Pascal and find "Controller- Pregnancy". Go to Raw Data. * Change the NID of the father to the one of PT- should be 0x0132. Double check the four last digits of his Sim Instance in "Sim Description (SDSC)", just in case.

I want to Do It Myself / I am a Mac User

• Pick your starting templates.
• Put them together how you would with any others. Make sure you use this mod by Mootilda to get rid of the useless big button that blocks the view.
• Close the game and open SimPE.
• Open the Neighborhood.
• Find the Bella you want to delete. I will assume the PV one gets deleted. (The PV one is in the Default Bin and the ST one is in the Ebadi Household)
• Find her wants and fears. Delete them.
• Remove all her relationships.
• Remove all her family ties/family tree connections.
• Remove all her memories (tokens, invisibles. EVERYTHING)
• Make sure that no Sim points at her in any way.
• Write down her character file.
• Open her character file.
• Delete everything inside it.
• Open the neighborhood again and find her entry. She will be called "Unknown" (or the equivalent in your language). Delete her and save.
• Go to the Characters folder and delete her character file.
• Open the Neighborhood.
• Go to the remaining Bella. I will assume it's the ST one.
• Add relationships to Mortimer, Cassandra, Alex, Michael, Simis and Jocasta.
• Add Family ties to the aforementioned.
• Go to Neighborhood Memory and change for Don Lothario and the Goths where the memories are pointing to. Add the new Bella as the recipient.

Wait! What if I forgot something?

Do not worry. Run HoodChecker, which will take care of things you might have left behind. Keep in mind new relationships, memories etc. Must be added manually by you. I suggest running it after deleting Bella.

That's a lot just to delete one sim. Isn't there a faster way?

Yes. You can follow this tutorial at MATY. Just remember: DO NOT RESET THE SIM INDEX. You can skip this part!

Do whatever you want with it, I don't care. Have fun!

Notes and CC used

• Skip, Jill, Johnny, the Caliente twins and their father have recessive genes in every template.
• Kaylynn, Gordon, Abhijet, Meredith and Crystal are always included.
• Although these Neighborhoods are clean and safe to use, the game just naturally piles up some stuff from now to then. Make sure to run your Neighborhood through Hoodchecker every now and then to get rid of them.
• The recreations of some resurrectable ancestors include content that was cut from the game. These modders have restored these items, who have been used in the recreations by carrit. I have included an extra piece I suspect has been used, too. If you won't use these, the sims who use them will have randomized clothing or hair instead. • I suggest using Infant Faces yourself to ensure every new sim has them.
