This is actually something that’s been on my to do list for years! I wanted to make my downtown heavily themed after Harajuku culture from the late 90s and early 00s, making supernaturals and downtownies who wear Harajuku styles For the grand high vampire countess, I thought EGA would be the ideal style to go with, and now I’m imagining a horde of EGL vampire girls led by an EGA grand high vampire aha, it’s close to the Mitsukazu Mihara inspired hood I envisioned.

It’s been an age since I last made a body mesh, and I actually had to remake the mesh entireley when I made a mistake in reinstalling and setting up Milkshape on my current laptop - which admittedly gave me the chance to rework part of the mesh I wasn’t completey happy with. I took a lot of inspiration from this post on the F Yeah Lolita blog I used to read a lot as a young teen, especially from the GLB scan of what I think is the brand Visible in 2002-2004. At the same time I wanted it to retain some hallmarks of the original outfit, so the seeves are actually retained from the medieval dress. It’s mostly maxis parts, the top from the store vampire outfit, the skirt from the Flamenco dancer outfit. The boots I stuck on there are an altered version of the strappy boots I nicked from these pantless bottoms by @sushigal007, cut off the staps and sheer parts which woudn’t be seen anyhow, so they’re a lil lower poly, too. The whole outfit is only 2736 poly. BTW the sim in the preview is wearing my vampire hair replacementwith accessory bangs!

There’s a small clipping issue with the mesh where the boots clip through the skirt ruffles with certain movements- sorry about that, bone assignments are a bit beyond me atm, I didn’t notice it too much in play testing but I understand if that’s a dealbreaker for others.

There’s 8 swatches- the pure black in the preview is pretty much the maxis base textures showing through, a few mixed/patterned textures, and a few Aelia jewels. For the replacements, the grand high vampire gets the damask version as I thought she needed something a bit fancier, and the black and black x white replaces the other colours of afbodydressmedieval.

Availible standalone or repo to AF- meshes included and compressorized! I’ve popped a texture base and UV map in there for recolourists, too.
