Finn is born as Yìchén in Beijing to Tai and Hua Liú. His father is the founder and CEO of a tech company called Liúme, resulting in Finn growing up with all luxuries he needs.

His father himself isn't from a rich background; he moved with his parents from a village in the south, near Shang Simla, to the big city when he was young for the bright boy's schooling. Due to his succes he found a wife from a well-off family. Having fought to be where he is at, he was always rather strict with Finn, raising him to be the company's heir. Finn's mother helped in those endaveours overenthusiastically, being obsessed with their good reputation and fortune.

Finn always had a rebellious nature and when he realized he is gay, this grew tenfold. He often openly defied his parents, who locked him up in his room until he changed his mind about his so-called bad behaviour. And of course, when Finn was on holiday to Isla Paradiso when he was 14 - his mother tried her best to keep him away from the golden-haired European boy with the two moms. Throughout his teenage years and early twenties Finn's relationships with his parents got sourer and sourer. The only support he had was the occasional secretive boyfriend and the housekeeper, who taught him to cook and helped him hide things. Finn often went out to gay clubs in secret and was always punished severely when his parents discovered. When they got desperate they started fixing blind dates for him with healthy son-bearing girls from wealthy families. One day it got too much, and Finn impulsively bought a plane ticket to Switzerland, leaving his comfortable but abusive golden cage behind.

He now officially adopted the name Finn and he quickly bumped into obstacles. His old love's clone tried to burn him alive, making him leave Alpenfrühle right when he got there - but if he had been in another building in the town's centre, he could've had his happy ending right there...

Instead the impulsive, slightly naïve, once privileged and with little survival instinct finn got in the hands of a druglord and human trafficker. Sergei manipulated him into working for him - and once in his grasp, it was hard to escape. Bad times became worse times became terrible times. Until a barely-functional, filled up with drugs and bruised all over Finn stole drugs money & escaped.

He learned in the meantime, becoming 100 times more responsible during his ordeal. He got into rehab, and mostly healed. Though his risk-taking behaviour never ebbed away, he's just too attracted to nightlife at his core. But he was strong and stayed above any true harm in paradise.

The impossible happened, and 14 years after meeting he reunited with Florian. But he figured out things and couldn't stop Flo from fighting their dangerous, highly skilled clone. If it hadn't been for Flo's sister being highly skilled and Charlotte, the cause of it all, having stolen a particular lamp, all hope would've been lost.

But it ended up well. Flo lived, and Flo was sweet, energetic, a joy to be around, and supportive about Finn's past and sensitivities. Finn finally had his happy ending, enjoying life with Flo in a peaceful place. But with Flo acting more and more unwell, how long will it take before Finn clutches onto old coping mechanisms?
