Angelique has two main areas, harbourside and mountainside. The mountain region is remote and rugged, and sims have to trek through the jungle, carrying their equipment, to get there. There is a sort of half-way station, on a ledge above the ocean - not as far up as the temple ruins, but still a long way from harbourside.

At the half-way ledge, a trading post sells the necessities - food and spare clothing. There's a fishing pond under the cliff at the back...and a swing, which must have been tricky to bring up from town.

Sims wanting to stay a few days in the jungle can use the state-run campground, next-door to the trading post. A tributary stream runs through the clearing, taking excess rain towards the sea far below. A cute little bridge connects the two sides. There is decent fishing in the pond, if you need a break from dried jerky.

There's a shared kitchen shelter and a couple of very rustic amenities stations. Limited power is provided by solar panels. It gets pretty dark at night - don't forget your torch!
