On the high plateau of mountainside, adventurous sims will find the ancient temple complex. There are three pyramids, ranging in size. The largest one has catacombs underneath, where it is thought that the priestly elite once lived and worked. The middle-sized pyramid is more ruinous than the others, with one entrance blocked by a rock fall and much of the roof missing - but apparently it's still safe to visit.

There is a ceremonial pool close to the giant statue. No one knows how it was meant to be used, but the fishing is good!

If you're hungry after your trek, modern entrepreneurs have set up a food stand. There is a basic toilet block at the back of the stand. Information boards have been set up at various points of interest, sharing the history of the site. Or you can just run up and down - some people play kicky bag on the temples!

A team of archaeologists is onsite to catalogue whatever they can, and have set up a semi-permanent camp in one corner. Some of their treasures are available for inspection, on the finds table under the awning.

They do have a campfire, if you want to stay into the evening; but be warned - theirs are the only tents, and it gets pretty dark up here.

And it's a long walk back to the public campground.
