I've been working on my custom tropical destination, so here are some of the lots I've been building. There's not a lot of hood deco yet, and of course many lots are empty so far - apologies if things seem a little bare!

This is the Aquarium. It has reception, a gift shop, self-guided displays and a walk-through tunnel downstairs. Upstairs is a food stand and an open-air terrace. Sims can look down into the tunnel walk as well.

Budget tourists can choose to stay in the backpacker's hostel, which is just behind the Aquarium. It has private cubicles with shared bath, kitchen and lounge facilities. There is also a pool and BBQ area.

For sims wanting a permanent home in the Tropics, this little beach house is on offer. It has one bed/one bath officially, although the kids could sleep on the back deck. And private beach access is a big selling point!
