Important note: this accessory was specifically designed to be worn as a part of pyjamas. This means it's invisible in every category other than sleepwear, underwear, and pregnancy clothes. You will still find it in the accessory bin regardless of what your sim is wearing, but you're not gonna see it on the sim unless they change into their undies. That way your sims can wear this accessory all the time and it will only appear when appropriate. The only thing I have to mention is I think it might be visible in work uniform as well, which is funny. And I don't know that for sure and I don't know how to change that, either.

Hey everyone!!! It isn't the 4th of October anymore where I am, but I know in some places it still is, so I'm gonna use that to my benefit. I really wanted to post this creation today and share something for the wonderful @notsosimstober challenge. I also want to express a special thank you to @nappe-plays-the-sims for inspiring me to join the challenge with their post!

Anyway, I made these last year. I was actually very surprised today when I thought to check and saw that I made them on the 4th and 5th of October 2024, which was exactly one year ago. That's a ridiculous coincidence. And they were almost ready when I abandoned them! This day of the challenge seemed like a perfect opportunity to finish and post them, so here they are.

So, how do these slippers work? This is an accessory, so you put them on your sims and they appear on top of whatever the sim is wearing. I love this concept and it allows for wide variety of cute outfits. It's best worn on bare feet, otherwise the meshes might clip.

Another thing that's very important to mention, and I added some info about that on top of this text - this was meant to be worn exclusively with PJs, so it's invisible in every category aside from sleepwear/underwear/pregnancy clothes. It's still visible in the bin, but not on the sim. In Bodyshop, I believe you first have to put your sim in their underwear or sleepwear to see it in the bin at all.

Some technical stuff: I think the original textures are super cute, but they were also ultra small and pixelated, so I upscaled them. I hope the original creator doesn't mind! Also, I have to give a shoutout to @xiasimla for their Paper Bag Hat Conversion, because I had a serious struggle with the child mesh and this cc piece surprisingly helped me. In short, there is a buggy invisible part on every accessory mesh that, for a reason I unfortunately don't understand, was drastically affecting the slipper mesh for kids, making it unusable. I was extremely frustrated and desperate when I found xiasimla's mesh, I just borrowed that tiny bunch of seemingly useless vertices from there and now everything works perfectly!! A massive shout out to you if you're reading this, without you I wouldn't be able to proceed with this!
