At long last, I am super excited to share with all of you my newest finished project: custom dog furs! I originally planned to have this out on Halloween, but it ended up being a much bigger and more complicated than I expected. Just like with the cat furs, these dog furs come in 51 shades of @pooklet​ colors, 20 lovely natural and 31 fantastic unnatural shades. They have been tested by me and @galaxy-maiden​, and each fur is fully breedable with working fur accessories.

Important Notice: Before downloading, these do require a bit of instructions. Included in the download is a file called MaxisAccFurDogFix. This file contains information that gives the available fur accessories (such as poodle puffs, beards, and brows) new family values. It is required __ if you want custom furs to be breedable with Maxis original fur colors. Plus, without it the fur accessories will appear white.

Also included is a folder called PetBreeds. It contains 15 Maxis breed packages that use fur accessories. Please merge this with your games PetBreeds folder and let the 15 pet breeds overwrite the files. Doing so will make these 15 breeds recognize the new family values of their applied fur accessory and display them accordingly.

The last file included in the download is a text file. Because of the way the MaxisAccFurDogFix works, if you have any previously created dogs or custom dog breeds that use accessory furs, these accessories will disappear from them. Fixing these dogs or breeds is a fairly simple procedure, however, and the text file contains information on how to fix them.

Lastly, before starting up your game please delete your cache files from your game folder. I also upgraded my KittenEyeFix in include a PuppyEyeFix so please redownload for the new addition.
