Seated atop the ‘rhino head’ where Lake Mohawksin meets the Spirit River flowage, the Barrhead School of Horsemanship (BSH) is Wisconsin’s largest and most versatile lesson and boarding stable.

Our certified staff teach children and adults of all ages (6+), beginner through show level, private and group lessons, 7 days a week rain-or-shine in a wide variety of English, Western, and team sport disciplines—but if that isn’t enough for you, we also host summer and winter riding camp for kids and teens, spring & fall horsemanship studies, full and rough board, discounted lease opportunities for longtime students, formative showing opportunities, and plenty more!
