Edo Style Kimono
At this point, the HHS kimono has to be my most retextured mesh, I don’t know how many textures I’ve made for it at to date, but it’s hundreds of packages, aha. I’ve been seeing a lot of footage and photos of Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura on my socials and it made me think, even though my custom hood is based on late 90s Tokyo, it could be really fun to make a historical theme park of sorts! I’d had the idea in my head for a while to do some edo period inspired retextures of the HHS kimono with the black collar covers for a good long while, but part of me is happy that I’ve done them now when I have a lot more retexturing experience because they came out great! (⌒▽⌒)☆
There’s 8 colours in a mix of patterns and Aelia colours, and they all come in variations with and without aprons which makes for 16 textures overall. I used my old PSD base to make these (with a lot more tweaks, I may need to update it)
They’re available CF-EF and come either standalone or repository to AF. In the zips I’ve included Skell and Mijutaro’s converted meshes, but Letomills made some alternate versions of the EF and TF meshes that you can grab instead here if you’d prefer them (they’ll work with these texture packages also), and I’d recommend their default replacement mesh for AF as it has a preg morph which certainly comes in handy for my purposes.
Additional credits: Eaxis, Skell, and Mijutaro for the meshes. Picknmixsims for theirrepository wizardwhich I used to make the repo versions. Patterns used: Plaid 256x256 by Sedma on DA,Little Japanese Apricot, Asanoha, Hanami, and Sakura Origami by Shishi2011 on DA, Japanese style pattern by gimei on DA. Aelia for their colour actions, Maxis for base textures.

Two different versions of F028, one using Raon’s alpha and one using Milya / Voleste’s alpha. I think the original is really cute, but it’s nice to get more use out of a mesh! However this mesh does have a small clipping issue on AF, I prefer the look of the other ages. I’ve been reading Neighborhood Story recently and Flora 5 really reminds me of some of Mikako’s hairstyles! It does feel like one of those meshes I love and barely anyone else uses, but all the more reason for me to do it.
