Description:
Per the Sims Wiki: Downtown is a sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Nightlife. There are residential lots for sale as well as community lots. When viewed in the neighborhood view, by default it is nighttime as opposed to the usual daytime for other neighborhoods and sub-neighborhoods. The player can toggle daytime/nighttime view in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Going downtown is free of charge, as is going from one lot to another.
