One girl, one story, three cats, no CC.
(I had this stupid, young adult novel-esk dream and it just had to be simmed. Especially since it's such a good excuse to try my hand at pet making.)
Lizzi is spelled with an "i" because her mother thought it was cute. Lizzi's family was very rich before the revolution. Lizzi was coddled and spoiled. With a nasty attitude and expensive tastes she had few friends. Her father, a high ranking official, was due to give a speech in the capitol the day of the coup. When her mother heard there was trouble, she told her daughter to wait in the car, and left.
The revolutionaries would have killed Lizzi, had not an unlike bunch of POW escapees arrived. After bickering a bit, the three kitty revolutionaries decided that the little girl might be useful. Perhaps for reaching high places and opening cans. So they decided to keep her. They sheltered her throughout the war, and the cold days of the plague that followed. She named them:
PILOT:
Pilot first suggested they help Lizzi. Pilot is neurotic and twitchy, prone to swatting at random stationary objects. He doesn't sleep nearly as long, or as often as a cat should, and sometimes sneaks off to enjoy a bit of the Nip. He has radical anarchist beliefs, and, somewhat bizarrely, a strong sense of spirituality.
DOLLFACE:
Dollface likes spaghetti, back scratches and overthrowing governments. Her crimes are numerous and violent. With the help of some old Marksman magazines, she taught Lizzi how to shoot a gun. She was far kinder to Lizzi after that. She's known Pilot since they were kittens.
CLYDE: (Whose name I misspelled in the package. Oops.)
Clyde is a bit slow in the head, but dexterous with his paws. He likes people, but wishes they'd stop being so daft. He had nothing to do with the revolution until he was wrongly imprisoned, at which point he decided their accusations were correct: he definitely had plans to assist the rebels. He has a big mouth and yowls in a cockney accent.
Lizzi herself became a strong, clever girl. She's become kinder, but she's lost almost all her old confidence. She hasn't spoken to a person in several years. Some day she hopes to have bread and jam. A soft bed. A comb for her hair. But she makes do.
