Make sure to create an appropriate collection for it—be descriptive with names, like using the set name or creating a collection called "Hairs."

Unhidden, available to YA, adults and elder for all categories and no longer classed as a hat. The conversion was done by Martini but I gave it a quick retexture myself.

These replace four colours of the 'mhairhatballcapup', for teens to elders.
(In case anyone wants to know, these don't conflict with feydecay's bowler hat replacements which you can find here. )Those replacements use the 'meshblue', 'meshgreyblack' and 'meshredorange', these replacements are for 'pink', 'black', 'ultramarine' and 'white'. :) )
Also, I know feydecay also did a replacement already using Nouk's SIS mesh, but hers is a really lovely slightly wavy version which replaces mhairshortspikey (and can be found here). I personally use that replacement as well as this replacement, which is a straight haired retexture by hat_plays_sims. Here's a comparison picture of them both.

Four hairs which replace the four plain recolours of these. I figured I'd get all the short hairs for women I had used up in one set.
Usual things apply, ages are separate, (I've included a zip file with all the ages and recolours so you can delete what you want if you don't want to have to download eight individual files) they use pooklet's colours (volatile, shrapnel, explosive and dynamite), and they've been compressed. :) I've tried to fix the weird gap in the 'Clean and Crisp' hairstyle and mostly succeeded, but the mapping on that hair is ...bizzare and frustrating, I wasn't prepared to spend hours working on it to make it perfect.

Newsea Starlet (using my own quick retexture using pooklet's resources, but I kept the highlight placement of StakeItUK's retexture) for the girls here. I picked this as it'd probably pass for any time period. The adult version stays hidden. This is because I'm already using Starlet as a replacement for cf and af haircurlsup. But I unhid the teen version, and made it townie disabled (so you don't need to worry about telling the difference between townies and paper carriers) and made it the same family as those. Again, this all doesn't really mean anything if you're not using the haircurlsup replacement, so don't worry. It just completes a set if you are using it. :) )
Newsea Unchained (using Martini's retexture) for the men. Picked again so it'd sort-of-ish work for any era, and also because I don't exactly love the hair myself (the bit in front of the eye bothers me), but wanted it somewhere in case I ever did want to use it. Both teen and adult versions are hidden.
Note: because these hairs are NPC hairs they do not come with grey/elder versions. Also, I'll probably be making another option for the male replacements with something short for people that don't want long hair on their male sims. Or so you can mix and match and have different hairs for adults/teens. If you have preferences on what you'd like to see them replaced with, let me know. (And also the chinese/grocery/pizza delivery hairs too, I suppose!)
PS. If you happen to be looking to save space, the adult and teen versions of both these replacements both use the same textures. So if you wanted, you could delete all the txmt/txtr files out of the teen versions, and they'd still work fine IF you keep the adult files. :)
