So, this is the sunset valley neighborhood (I think I found it on mod the sims), anyway I'm calling it Woodford. I have made a handful of townies and have

Time for some gameplay! I'll try not just bring my own opinion, but also cover if InZOI is a fit for your gameplay style!
I'll keep these gameplay styles in mind:
- Legacy: Simmers who love generational play. Often challenge themselves with the 10 generation challenge.
- Storytelling: Simmers who love to take pictures of their characters and even make stories about them.
- Rotationary: Simmers who love to play multiple families in one world/neighborhood.
- Chaos Play: Simmers who love to kill sims or plain up love chaos in their sims lives.
- The Super Uber sim: Simmers whose sim is older than all our sims combined and at this point they're probably immortal with all the knowledge in the world.
- Hands on: Simmers who love to control every tiny aspect of their sims.
- Hands off: Simmers who are the total opposite and often like their sim to autonomously do things themeselves. Sometimes this is also done through whims (or wants/fears in the sims 2).
Obviously some of these gameplay styles can be combined together, but I figured for ease of the review, to simply keep it this way. 😉
Profile, Traits and Desired Life
Before we can fully play the game, we still need to stick around in the character creator to finish things up. Here, we'll be checking out some profile options, Traits and what exactly desired life is.
The first thing that struck me as really cool was the gender options! It comes with a way to select your …

One of the most exciting parts of any life sim is stepping into its world for the first time—and InZOI doesn’t disappoint when it comes to first impressions. With two fully playable cities available at launch, each offering its own unique vibe and layout, it’s clear the devs put a lot of thought into giving players a variety of environments to explore.
But beyond the surface-level beauty, how do these worlds actually play? Are they just pretty backdrops, or do they offer meaningful gameplay opportunities? In this section, I’ll be diving into both cities, what makes them stand out, and where they still fall a little short—because while there’s a lot to love, there’s also room to grow.
I will also try my best sharing my thoughts on what the current state of InZOI would mean for rotationary players and players who love to play townies for their drama.
And I'll finish with talking a bit about routing and driving!
The Worlds of InZOI
The game currently comes with two ready-to-play worlds: Dowon, a South Korean-inspired city, and Bliss Bay, which has more of a laid-back, California vibe. A third world, Kuchingku, a Indonesian inspired City, is also on the way, which is exciting!
Bliss Bay
As mentioned earlier, Bliss Bay is a California-inspired city, complete with a gorgeous beach and—yes—a full-on amusement park!
This was the first world I …

Here’s my review of InZOI! I’ve been playing The Sims for… well, basically forever—at least since The Sims 1 came out on console.
Having been part of the community for so long and familiar with all kinds of playstyles, I thought, why not dive into InZOI with all that in mind? In my reviews, I’ll do my best to consider different playstyles so you can get a clearer idea of whether the game in its current state is your dream come true—or one to skip.
I've currently done easily 25 hours into it, and figured that I've explored at least the basics of the game relatively well to make a good opinion on what I think of it.
I'll be releasing 3 "sub-reviews" of the game, and will make sure to edit each post so you can read those too if you like!
- And, a quick note: This is purely my own opinion! I haven't been paid or sponsored to write this. This is purely from a simmer point of view 😉*
Character Creator
Just like most reviews say, it’s a pretty cool character creator! Overall, it does what you'd expect—lets you change your ZOI’s face, clothes, and more.
The creator also gives you the ability to change the body type of your ZOI, proportions of said body. And if you're not in the Character Studio version, of course ways to name your ZOI, traits and desired life!
Ages
While I won't go in depth as to what each age group does, InZOI's character creator comes with the following ages:
- Child
- Teen
- Young Adult
- Adult
- Middle Aged
- Elder
Though… if I had one complaint about …
